Not Just Ordinary Window Panes

Mill glass

My neighbor’s shop has this really cool window that came from the former General Electric Plant in Asheboro, which later became Black & Decker. Back in 1965, he was part of a major restoration effort to modernize the plant, and consequently was able to obtain the soon to be scraped mill glass. There is also another window on the back of his building too. These along with a full length cupola add a certain charm and character to an otherwise ordinary block building. ~MB
