Beautiful sunset this past Friday evening over one of the wheat fields on Cedar Square Road in the community of Glenola just off the 311 bypass south of Archdale. Detail of a wheat stalk showing the cluster of kernels. For this shot I used a Canon 500D Close-up Lens. This accessory is a thick filter which attaches to the end of my camera lens allowing me to focus much closer to my subject. It’s a lighter and more economical alternative to carrying a dedicated macro lens. ~MB
