The water tower stands as sort of a monument to the former Black & Decker plant on South Fayetteville Street in Asheboro, NC. The plant closed many years ago, and now another business occupies the building.

My photography workflow typically begins in Adobe Lightroom, but I thought for this snapshot I’d try a different method. I processed this photo using Perfect Effects 4. I’ve been using Perfect Effects for several years, and I enjoy using it in conjunction with Photoshop for finishing off some of my photos. Here I used the “Color Holga” effect.
